The New Callaway UPro MX GPS

Have you ever been out on a golf course that you had never been to before? You got lost didn't you. I thought so. With all of the current golf course GPS Raingefinders costing over 2-3 hundred dollars it's no wonder you got lost.

Fret not my lost on the links friends, Callaway has a new GPS coming out called the Callaway uPro MX. Now, even though the release date is not until mid March, I was able to get my hands on one of these bad boys for a little trial run. Let me tell you, It lives up to all the quality that you have come to know from Callaway.

The Callaway uPro MX comes jam packed with over 25,000 pre-loaded courses from the Callaway course database. Thats more courses than anyone would hope to play in their entire life. It uses hi-res aerial images of the courses that will pinpoint and display your exact location. Some may call it cheating, but between you and I, I like to know if there is a water hazard around the next dog leg!

Other features include:

• Gesture-based Touch Screen for pinpoint accuracy.

• Optical Finger Navigation allows for easy and precise user experience.

• Video Flyovers show the layout of each hole.

• AnyPoint technology provides measurements to and from any location on the course.

• Virtual Green View shows the green and its surrounding area in vivid detail with precise distances.

• Additional functionality, such as a Group Scorecard, personal stats (fairways hit, GIR, # of putts), and individual club shot tracking.

• Full-color 2.2" LCD screen viewable in direct sunlight.

• Compact profile is nearly half the size and weight of other GPS devices.
